MANAGER II, SYSTEMS ENGINEERING - Senior AV Design Engineer

Position Summary...
What you'll do...
You will be on project assignments that are the most complex projects and large-scale systems with enterprise clients, using your expertise while challenging yourself. You will mentor others and collaborate with internal teams to bring your designs to life.

• Lead complex projects, establishing client partnerships, collaborating with the project teams to develop and deliver the right solution, budget, timeline, and managing expectations.
• Conceptualize and develop designs and defines system requirement.
• Oversee and provide the documentation for quotes, bid packages, BOM, required engineering drawings, and tracking markups ensuring the team follows a standardized process to completion.
• Monitor industry trends via publications, trade shows, seminars, and forums to understand emerging technologies to identify and recommend the best option for clients and projects.
• Test, commission, and configure subsystems during project deployment.
• Provide project engineering cadence with status updates to the Technical Operations, Project Engineering, and other stakeholders.

What you'll bring

• Minimum five (5) years of AV Integration experience with technical system design and a thorough understanding of design techniques & methodologies, and project phases
• AVIXA CTS is required, CTS-D high desired
• Certifications or training with at least one DSP platform (Biamp, QSC, Clearone), and one control system (Crestron, Extron, AMX)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• High level of problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Agile character and the ability to travel up to 30% of the time to client sites
