Manager III, Technical Publication - (M3)

Key Responsibilities

Supervises a technical publications group with specific responsibility for office safety, staffing, technical mentoring as required within the group, staff professional and personal development and budget adherence. Technically lead and/or execute projects

Ensure customer satisfaction via on time delivery of product releases and prompt resolution of critical issues

Ensure the integration of resources with cross-functional teams to meet product goals

Define technical publication specifications which contribute to project exit requirements

Provides management with updates pertaining to progress in specific projects and initiatives

Interface with internal and external customers regarding issues for specific projects

Holds and contributes to technical reviews necessary for product design

Make recommendations for the technical publications strategy which contributes to roadmap and business processes

• Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors

• Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies. Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives

• Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees

• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.

• Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules.

• Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
