Overview

The Manager, Inbound Data Acquisition job function leads, manages and maintains the technology teams for acquiring data into the ONESource ecosystem. This individual will work closely with ETP and SGWS business teams to identify, acquire and load data into ONESource. This role will also help define strategy on data ingestion into the environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages all daily activities including monitoring, maintenance, tracking, reporting, and problem resolution for the acquisition of data into ONESource.
  • Define strategy for data ingestion into ONESource.
  • Develop routines and procedures for data ingestion.
  • Manages changes to ONESource ingestion processes in a systematic manner to ensure systems availability, performance and reliability
  • Manages resources that develop routines and procedures for data ingestion.
  • In conjunction with DMG group, develop routines and procedures that provide data quality checks and balances on data ingestion.
  • Collaborate across the BI / Analytics, DMG, EIA and ONESource teams to establish standards, reusable data models and best practices for ingestion of data into ONESource
  • Stay up to date on Data ingestion techniques and best practices.
  • Coach and develop team members and execute succession plans as needed.
  • Monitors the IT ticketing system to ensure timely correction of any incidents
  • Analyzes activities and documented resolutions, identify problem areas, devise and deliver solutions to enhance quality of service and prevent future issues
  • Helps to define key operational metrics, develop reporting and set targets and continuously improve. Present operational metrics to IT Leadership on a consistent basis
  • Partners with Infrastructure Team in areas of cross use resources
  • Communicates with upper-management and internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • Oversee and manage application development and maintenance across SGWS
  • Works with business partners to ensure a fit for purpose solution is designed.
  • Responsible for the delivery of required technology components on time and on budget.
  • Mentors, develops, motivates and coaches teams to work collaboratively and effectively
  • Works cross functionally across ETP and outside of ETP with key business stakeholders.
  • Works closely with the technical application development teams to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Applies significant knowledge of industry trends, developments, and capabilities to address and improve business capabilities.
  • Develops budget and manages work to budget
  • Ensures that solutions and services deliver at or above expected business value.
  • Participates in industry peer groups to understand industry trends and implements and recommends best practice solutions.
  • Drives process and technology changes throughout the organization in support of business objectives.
  • Manages and responds to business-partner feedback to enable continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively up and down the organizational hierarchy in IT and business executive leadership
  • Develops and recommends changes to systems, policies and procedures

Specialized Skills and Technologies

  • Competent with SAFe, Scrumban, XP, Kanban, Lean, and other Agile frameworks
  • Experience in food and beverage, CPG or distribution industry
  • Continuous Improvement / Process Management experience (Agile, Six Sigma/LEAN, DMS) including relevant certification
  • Competent with SAFe, Scrumban, XP, Kanban, Lean, and other Agile frameworks
  • Advanced knowledge in ETL tools (Informatica Power Center, Power exchange)
  • Advanced knowledge in Data Warehouse techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge in cloud platforms (AWS)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and formal education in a relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of business technology experience with prior supervisory experience
  • Experience working in large complex technology projects including those with offshore teams
  • Working knowledge of multiple disciplines and technologies
  • Strong team player with ability to work with multiple stakeholders across a variety of functions as well as able to work independently
  • Excellence presentation and facilitation skills to communicate complex information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and manage an action plan including strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lead a team environment with the Agile delivery values of Openness, Commitment, Respect, Courage, and Focus

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
