A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MANAGER, INFORMATION AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT

Your role at our company will be quite unique since every day might be a little different. As a Project Manager you will lead and coach team members and identify areas for growth, embracing our core value of commitment to lifelong learning. Client-Facing Requirements

  • Define and develop IG Program strategies aligned with client's maturity, operational / regulatory environment, goals, and mission
  • Design and lead executive alignment sessions to build consensus among leaders for client project and program initiatives
  • Create multi-phase roadmaps that prioritize and sequence an integrated list of project initiatives that add value to the client's operations
  • Develop KPIs to assess the effectiveness of a client's information governance program and solutions
  • Articulate costs, benefits and risks of a given approach and make fit-for-purpose recommendations
  • Express ideas, opinions, and recommendations with compelling supporting data (pros/cons, benefits/risks)
  • Guide client in the evaluation of new technology initiative and provide input on IG lifecycle and compliance impacts
  • Analyze and assess client information-related policies, processes, and retention schedules Manage project scope, budget, and resources according to contract requirements
  • Build executive-level trust and relationships with mutual respect and diplomacy
  • Build stakeholder coalitions to support information governance initiatives
  • Remain abreast of emerging regulations with potential impact to the client's information governance program and practices

REQUIREMENTS TO BE SUCCESSFUL MEMBER OF OUR TEAM

  • Translate complex ideas with straight-forward language and visuals
  • Develop and deliver engaging presentations for different audiences, including conference speaking engagements and webinars
  • Identify new opportunities within existing client accounts or projects to bring additional value to the client
  • Develop proposals and statements of work for new engagements, including methodology, approach, and pricing / resource model
  • Identify project team member strengths and delegate responsibility as a means to grow and empower
  • Understand internal financial reporting and accounting and articulate the impacts to company offerings
  • Take the initiative to continuously learn and grow in this evolving profession, setting and achieving goals for professional development

Required Skills, Experience, and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Five (5) years of leading projects
  • Records and information management experience in a consulting environment
  • Experience with multiple ECM tools / platforms
  • Fluent in the Microsoft Office product suite
  • Able to engage and establish positive relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Leader with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
  • Experience with project management methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible, demonstrate critical thinking and work effectively in fluid environments
  • Strategic thinker
