We are currently looking for a Manager, Information Security to join our team in Franklin, TN.

The Information Security Manager role requires technical competence and experience managing diverse teams and plays a pivotal role in protecting the company's information assets. Additionally, the role requires familiarity with recent threats and adversarial techniques, as well as the ability to quickly understand complex environments. Business and interpersonal skills are essential to communicate risk to the business, interface with other business units and develop the team. The Information Security Manager contributes to the company's IT security strategy and roadmap.

The goal for the Manager of Information Security is to develop a security mindset or "culture of security" throughout Nissan. The mission of this role includes, developing a security policy that is technically current, create and deliver awareness content throughout the organization to promote security, and develop a security controls assessment program to ensure continual compliance to NIST and regulatory standards.

Job functions Include but are not limited to:

POLICY
  • Draft current, clear, enforceable policies that are compliant with applicable laws and regulations; benchmarked against industry standards and common security frameworks; and aligned with stakeholders at the regional, global and alliance levels.
  • Interpret these and other related policies through supplemental standards, procedures, advisories, and other mechanisms to ensure clarity.
  • Publish and communicate policies using a variety of available methods to ensure easy access and regular reference.


AWARNESS CONTENT
  • Create timely and relevant content based on industry trends, threats and predictions to engage and educate users at all levels.
  • Distribute content using a variety of techniques to maximize understanding and increase overall security awareness.
  • Develop and deploy training programs based on assessed needs, compliance requirements and policy enforcement.
  • Customize training as needed.
  • Refine training offerings based on roles and risks.


CONTROLS ASSESSMENTS
  • Identify control gaps using generally accepted assessment methodologies for maturity and resilience that contribute to vulnerabilities or non-compliance.
  • Document, track, and report on controls and processes as appropriate to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Align requirements at the regional, global and alliance level to ensure minimum compliance requirements exist and are documented for projects, contracts, and suppliers.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years of relevant work experience
  • GRC Certification preferred but not mandatory
  • Specialized Knowledge of:
    • Creation and maintenance of official Company Policies
    • Creation and delivery of security education
    • Knowledge of privacy regulations and security frameworks
    • Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance
  • Security Management (CISM) certification preferred
  • Security Audit (CISA) certification preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
