Manager, Information Security Ops

Exiger is seeking a candidate to fill the role of a Manager, IT & Security that will interface with internal project teams and external parties. The manager is responsible for monitoring and analyzing real-time network and security events and incidents in order to mitigate risk to Exiger’s systems, services and information assets. Additionally, the candidate will be communicating and responding to clients on our operational process and security program. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical Security Operations skills coupled with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to our clients. This is a high profile, fast paced role that interfaces across the entire company and at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for the identification, triage and response of events or incidents of apparent security breaches or activities that warrant investigation.
• Develops a deep understanding of operational risks and drives the response process in order to minimize the impact of these risks
• Influences and improves upon existing processes through innovation and operational change
• Develops and supports strategic plans and projects to meet Global Security and SOC goals and objectives
• Deploy and maintain security tools to support detection, response and auditing.
• Develop user training program including activities to assess user behavior and insider threat risk.
• Proactively monitors infrastructure systems to assure optimal security
• Maintaining and testing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans
• Interface with clients to communicate/present our ISMS and answer any questions related to our processes and accreditations.
• Managing the review of user access to Exiger systems and data
• Supporting security monitoring and analytics capabilities across network and host devices
• Develop and maintain & Periodic testing of Incident Response Program
• Vulnerability and Risk Assessment
• Manage Internally performed as well as third party Pen Testing
• Ensuring appropriate configuration standards such as CIS Benchmarks is applied where needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to interact with Exiger Executive stakeholders, clients, regulatory and legal entities.
• Team player and self-starter willing and capable of working in a small business environment with a fast-paced executive team
• Ability to meet stringent deadlines and manage contractors and vendors to deliver quality products on-time
• Strong executive written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Program and Project management skills
• Strong Technical knowledge in security tools such as EDR, Content filtering, and secure DNS.

Professional Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or computer engineering
• 6+ years of work experience in two or more of the following areas:
• Network security management
• Web application security management
• Vulnerability & Patch management
• Designing and Operating enterprise security controls
• Malware analysis and remediation and Web Server - Anomaly Analysis
• Security Incident Response management
• Security Operations management and maintaining IT general controls
• Solid understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure designs; including cloud infrastructures, routing, firewalls, host and network intrusion detection systems, encryption, load balancing, Active Directory, DNS and other network protocols
• Experience working as part of a global team, spanning multiple time zones and cultures.

This position is remote eligible within the United States, excluding residents of California, Colorado, or New York.
