Manager, Inside Sales

Location: Fully Remote in the USA

Job Overview:

Build positive working relationships with fellow employees and our customers.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a team through coaching, mentoring and defining clear expectations while holding yourself and team members accountable
  • Work closely with inside sales reps to build individual business plans that lead to achieving sales goals and success in their territory
  • Observing and periodically participating in sales reps calls with customers. Provide timely feedback and coaching related to those observations
  • Partner with Regional Field Sales Manager to build a framework for effectively leading territory sales teams to success
  • Prepare and participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Works with individual sales reps and help them set professional and personal goals
  • Conduct bi-weekly and monthly forecast meetings with team members. Ensure salesforce opportunities are updated in a timely fashion and pipeline is followed throughout the month
  • Collaborate with fellow sales leaders and cross functional departments to remove obstacles and improve processes which will enhance sales team productivity
  • Coach reps to achieve weekly activity benchmarks. Webinars, call time, outbound calls and new/expansion pipeline build
  • Conduct interviews, hire, help train and develop new sales reps when needed


Job Requirements:
  • Must be Humble, Hungry and Smart
  • Intelligent Software/Technology sales leader with a successful track record of building a high-performance organization and developing strong sales leaders
  • Highly articulate in sales management processes and measurements
  • 5+ years' Sales experience, with 3-5+ years in roles of increasing management responsibility highly preferred. 2-3 years in K-12 Education Experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, initiating and sustaining relationships internal and external to the organizations; Ability to work with others in team environment to achieve common objectives
  • Experience working with CRM or Sales software tools
  • Familiarity with web -based products, researching via web, or other internet experience
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating new market channels, developing go to market strategies, building new teams and deploying successfully
  • Extensive experience leading a SaaS based remote selling team, deploying industry best practice tools and strategies for reaching the defined market segments
  • Ability to initiate strategic thinking, contribute to and lead important cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to help set priorities for the sales team's training needs and manage against them, while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate a clear vision, strategies and tactics to inspire and motivate across sales channels
  • Build reporting presentations for Senior Leadership
  • Excellent analytical skills


Preferred Job Requirements:
  • K-12 Saas Experience
  • Bachelor's degree minimum or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a remote environment; Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Certification/Training on multiple sales approaches
