Position & Purpose Summary


Manager, Insights and Advisory Services, is a key part of the AVIA team; A dynamic and growing team that delivers strategic work that enables and accelerates digital health strategies and initiatives. 


This position will play a pivotal role with health systems by driving the integration of digital technologies and innovative solutions into clinical (i.e. nursing) and operational practices. This role’s expertise will be crucial in optimizing patient care, enhancing clinical processes, and improving overall healthcare outcomes.


The Manager, Insights and Advisory Services position will become a trusted partner to our members and clients combining your clinical expertise with a deep understanding of digital health technologies, collaborating with AVIANs, health system leaders to drive value to our members and clients.


This role will draw upon health system, clinical, and industry experience to manage teams/projects, lead quality thought provoking insights, and develop deliverables that solve our members' and clients’ biggest problems. 

Your Zone of Genius will be…

  • Using your over 3-5 years experience in a health system or health care consulting role, you are equipped with the skills to navigate the cultural and organizational complexities of the healthcare industry, our members, and our clients. You are able to:
  • Understand processes within health systems and have used this experience to create efficiencies in health systems via digital solutions
  • Demonstrate experience in leadership in health services delivery in a particular domain, such as coding, revenue cycle, scheduling operations, call center, inpatient throughput, service line performance, remote patient monitoring, acute care, or ambulatory care
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of healthcare technologies and digital solutions, including EHRs, CRM, telemedicine, and/or data analytics platforms

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with a healthcare or technology focus (e.g. MBA, MHA, MPH, etc…)
  • Ability to build coherent narratives through excellent written/verbal communications that drive decision-making and buy-in as clients and members move their organizations along the journey of digital transformation
  • A passion for innovation and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and healthcare trends
  • Define project plans with appropriate dependencies and manages upward to balance risk while identify mitigation tactics
  • Stellar analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to break complex problems down into component parts, prioritize their value, and deliver concise, actionable insight
  • Balance multiple demands simultaneously, including independent ownership of project scopes including managing sub tasks to deliver independently 
  • Maintain mentoring relationships with direct reports and peers, and supports individuals’ growth development as well as work product quality
  • Consistently make well-informed decisions even under pressure, learns and adapts from outcomes
  • Build enduring longitudinal relationships with members, clients, and solution company stakeholders, and builds a positive personal brand with leaders, peers, and clients as a “team player”
  • Demonstrate excellent client management skills, embodying professionalism and competence in an ethos of service excellence when managing day-to-day interactions with health system and solution company executives
  • Expertise in document, spreadsheet, and presentation tools such as Google and Microsoft Office tools suites, Tableau or other analytics tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with key innovation methods such as human-centered design
  • PMP or similar certification
  • LEAN six-sigma black belt
