Manager, Internal Communications
Job Description
This role will be responsible for leading a measurable editorial content strategy for internal audiences that drives engagement and enhances our culture. Additionally, leveraging content for external exposure to assist in creating a NT employee of choice persona. Key responsibilities include building a productive, trusting relationship with Global CIO as well as cross-functional leaders in Technology while providing thoughtful, strategic communications counsel and support. Core to this role is owning a content strategy that inspires and celebrates our inclusive culture and demonstrates the power of diversity and inclusion in achieving and sustaining superior business results.
Job focus is on managing others and applying operational or strategic management skills. Management responsibilities and decisions likely include hiring, performance reviews, pay decisions and development. Achieves goals mostly through work of others. Manages professional staff and/or supervisors/ team leads. Accountable for the performance and results of a team within own area of specialty. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and department plan; receives guidance from manager. Provides guidance to partners, colleagues and/or clients
Major
Duties
1. Manage integration and alignment across corporate functions, Business Units and geographies to ensure unified content development
2. Aggregate and recommend content ideas for Town Halls, All Partner Meetings and Leadership platforms
3. Lead the measurement of corporate storytelling and own a data-driven approach to editorial strategy
4. Lead development of partner-centered storytelling across multimedia platforms and published across existing and emerging communications channels
5. Drive a cohesive corporate narrative through communications initiatives that are always meaningful, memorable and actionable
6. Provide executive communication support for the Sr Executives.
7. Partner closely with Corporate PR team to enhance alignment and drive integrated communications for internal and external audiences
8. Manage and coach global team
9. Identifies and solves technical and operational problems; understands and recognizes broader impact across the department, with understanding some communications are urgent regardless of day and time
10. Guided by policies and departmental plan, impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives

Experience
Required
• Comfort interacting with senior executives across the organization and experience working with C-suite leaders
• 10+ years of industry expertise in internal communications management, leading business communications strategy and employee-facing campaigns.
• Proven experience managing a team and excellent project management and operational skills
• Manages one or more teams; adapts department plans and priorities to meet short-term service and/or operational objectives
