We are searching for a Manager, Internal Communications.
This role will be responsible for leading measurable, strategic communication strategy, planning and execution for internal audiences that drives engagement and enhances culture, as well as Building a productive, trusting relationship with cross-functional leaders across the organization while providing thoughtful, strategic communications counsel and support.
We have a balanced hybrid working model to ensure you get the flexibility you need, and the successful candidate will spend their time between working in the office and working from home.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
• Act as key communications counselor and partner to the Chief Human Resources Officer and other key executives.
• Lead and coordinate large-scale, enterprise-wide communications campaigns and initiatives, collaborating with communications and business units across the organization.
• Manage integration and alignment across corporate functions, Business Units and geographies to ensure unified content development.
• Aggregate and recommend content ideas for Town Halls, All Partner Meetings and Leadership platforms
• Lead the measurement of corporate storytelling and own a data-driven approach to editorial strategy by overseeing communications for large scale, company-wide initiatives and utilize the right channels with the concise and effective content.
• Lead development of partner-centered storytelling across multimedia platforms and published across existing and emerging communications channels and own a content strategy that inspires and celebrates our inclusive culture and demonstrates how partners can play a pivotal role in achieving and sustaining superior business results.
• Drive a cohesive corporate narrative through communications initiatives that are always meaningful, memorable and actionable.
• Partner closely with PR team to enhance alignment and drive integrated communications for internal and external audiences
• Manage and coach team, including hiring, performance reviews, pay decisions and development and accountable for the performance and results of a team within own area of specialty.
• Identifies and solves technical and operational problems; understands and recognizes broader impact across the department
• Guided by policies and departmental plan, impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
• Experience and comfort interacting with senior executives across the organization and experience working with C-suite leaders
• 12+ years of industry expertise in internal communications management, leading business communications strategy and employee-facing campaigns.
• Proven experience managing a team and excellent project management and operational skills
• Manages one or more teams; adapts department plans and priorities to meet short-term service and/or operational objectives
• Excels at the strategy and the tactics
• Strong leadership competency and skills
• Ability to work across a matrixed structure as well as work independently
• Passion for bringing the discipline of simplicity and continuous improvement to all aspects of work
• Phenomenal communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Applies understanding of the business and how own area integrates with others to achieve departmental objectives
• Guides and influences others either internally or externally to adopt a different point of view
