Job Summary
This role's primary function is helping growing sales for the company. The purpose of this position is to lead and grow Internal Sales Partners (internal wholesalers) in ILFS Internal Sales. A Manager Internal Sales role does this through coaching on soft skills & sales techniques, focusing the ISP on future growth in the company, and helping the ISP be proficient in the sales process (everything from garnering interest in our products through an application coming in house). This also includes the primary responsibilities listed below.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to
- Growing Internal Sales Partners through call monitoring, coaching, curriculum use, feedback, and monthly touchpoints
- Collaborate with fellow Internal Sales Managers, ISPs, and other business partners to create efficiencies and innovation within Internal Sales
- Represent Internal Sales' wants, needs, and/or thoughts in internal meetings
- Promote core EWA Beliefs within team (i.e., create clarity, own it, mutual trust, celebrate success, embrace change, speak up, and grow people)
Job Requirements
Required Education and/or Certifications
- High School Diploma
Recommended Education and/or Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree
- Life & Health License
- Securities Licensing
- Industry designations, e.g., CFP, CLTC, RICP, etc.
Required Work Experience
- 3 to 5+ years of sales experience
- 2 to 3+ years of leadership experience
- 2 to 3+ years of financial industry experience
Salary Band: S06
This selected candidate will be expected to work Hybrid in San Diego, CA. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
