Manager, International Tax

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Peloton Tax Team is looking for a skilled tax professional to join our in-house tax team. As a member of the Peloton Tax Team you will help mitigate tax risks and maximize tax opportunities by leveraging your tax experience and through collaboration with business stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in international taxation. Ideally, the candidate will have experience managing international tax compliance, experience supporting local finance teams, and have experience supporting country-by-country filing requirements and exposure to transfer pricing principals. This position will report to the Senior Manager, International Tax and support direct tax compliance and tax accounting matters for Peloton’s international entities. The candidate will also help support global tax planning initiatives and manage relationships with local country tax advisors.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting international tax compliance workstreams, reconciliation workstreams, planning projects, preparing audit ready documentation, and helping support tax requirements for intercompany transactions. The candidate will be expected to ensure accurate and timely filings for our international entities and manage the following:

• International tax reporting and compliance (direct tax)
• Manage local country tax providers
• Identify and support international tax planning opportunities
• Assist with preparation of local country income tax returns
• Preparation of international estimated tax payments
• Support local country controversy/audit workstreams
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation
• Experience training, developing, and fostering professional growth among a team

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years working in the corporate tax function at a publicly traded company and/or tax consulting firm serving Fortune 500 clients 
• CPA, MBA, and/or JD (with Tax concentration)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (Vlookups, filtering, pivot tables, conditional formatting)
• Self-motivated with a desire to implement process improvements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work cross functionally with other teams at Peloton

Base Salary: $138,800.00  to $180,400.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
