Seeking a SAP Callidus Techno-Functional leader with experience in S4/Hana and SAP Callidus Cloud (SAP CPQ) to be part of the IT team responsible for the CPQ Implementations across Valmont divisions. You should have worked on implementing CPQ solutions and integrating SAP Callidus Cloud (SAP CPQ) with SAP ERP systems using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

The SAP Techno-Functional leader role helps create solutions that cross a portfolio of software and applications supporting business activities. These applications range from SAP CPQ, SAP S/4 Hana, and integration with Salesforce CRM, along with multiple home-grown solutions, other ERP Systems, and data warehouses. With our digital transformation initiative Valmont DNA program, we are making huge investments in modernizing our customer self-service, quote and order creation process leveraging a CPQ platform.

Essential Functions:

You will oversee the daily management of Configure Price and Quote (CPQ) implementation and technical governance to exceed user expectations regarding on time delivery performance and solution completeness objectives. You will also ensure industry best practices are followed and provide technical consultation and support in the development and implementation of CPQ and product design solution tools. You will lead and manage implementations and will be responsible for reliable consulting support using your partners and via third party strategic service providers and contractors.

• You will report to the Director IT Customer and Commerce Solutions and has an offshore CPQ Technical Developer and a Business Analyst reporting into them
• We are looking for up 20% travel both domestically and internationally
• Lead business requirement gathering sessions and educate our business subject matter experts on SAP CPQ best practices and industry practices
• Oversee the implementation projects
• Manage the development work of 3rd party System Integrators who are helping Valmont implement CPQ
• Develop SOWs for work
• Support and schedule CPQ enhancements and bug fixes
• Design, code, test, debug, and document our components to ensure that software meets business, quality, and operational needs
• Configure and Customize SAP Callidus Cloud CPQ application
• Integrate/building interfaces using APIs between SAP Callidus Cloud with other business applications like Salesforce, Windchill PLM, and SAP S/4 Hana
• Build and facilitate high quality code following unit testing and test-driven development
• Improve and participate in code and document reviews, mentoring team in best practices
• Collaborate with peer organizations, dev ops, support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance
• Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates
• Recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance is achieved
• Work with team to troubleshoot code level problems
• Apply deep technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problems
• Focus on scalability, security and availability of all applications and processes
• Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software
• Contribute to risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture

What it takes:

• Preferred Bachelor's with 6+ years of relevant experience or Associate's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years of relevant experience
• 6+ years of SAP Technical experience and SAP Callidus Cloud CPQ Platform functional knowledge
• 5+ years of application support or project leadership experience
• 5+ years of global IT experience
• 3+ years of team management experience
• Experience with Python programming
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile/ Lean Startup methodologies
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud, hardware, software, application, and systems engineering
• Experience building application teams
• Experience in designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure solutions
• Demonstrated experience with the business process and performance modeling, benchmarking, and financial analysis

HighlyQualified Candidates Will Possess :

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Business Management or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (IS), or another relevant academic discipline
• Experience with integrating SAP Callidus Cloud with other business applications like Salesforce, Web Portals, PLM Systems, CAD systems, SAP S/4
• Configure and Customize SAP CPQ application
• Help architect and develop the Guided Selling and configure-to-order product configuration in CPQ
• Understand the SAP Variant Configurator process and integration with CPQ
• Understand SAP S/4 Sales and Distribution configuration - with emphasis on pricing, order and quote configuration and processes as well as master data.
• Experience with performance tuning of Callidus Cloud for business needs
• Experience in business application design, development, implementation, and/or solution architecture within the Offering, Pricing and Order management life cycles
• Experience with designing Restful API's
• Experience in Designing and implementing Distributed Systems
• Implementation and Design Experience for CI/CD, Observability, Test Automation for Callidus Cloud
• CPQ/ERP/CRM Enterprise Architecture and design Experience Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:

Work is typically performed in an office setting. You are required to sit for extended periods of time, and talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings. The environment is fast-paced and demanding most of the time. Travel requirements for this position are up to 20% both domestic and internationally. You are frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms while working in the office with various files and forms and while working on the computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk when moving about the office. You must use proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and positions, keyboard location and height and proper wrists rests. You must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds in working with large files, binders, and computer equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Minimum base salary is $110,376 and max is $172,463.
