Manager - IT Workload Automation & Scheduling
Job Description
This position is responsible for leading a team responsible for developing, maintaining, scheduling and monitoring execution of job automations workflows for our IT systems. Team members include automation engineers who develop the automated workflows and computer operations who monitor workflow execution, troubleshoot issues and perform ad-hoc job execution or other tasks requiring manual intervention.

- Provide direct supervision to all team members.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Develop and maintain the team's SDLC processes including changed management ensuring it delivers quality output and meets company standards.
- Manage the teams workload and priorities to ensure all work is completed on time and with high quality.
- Identify, prioritize, and manage implementation of process improvements for increased productivity.
- Continuously research and evaluate new automation tools and technologies to optimize workflows and enhance system performance.
- Manage the administration of Workload Automation software including installation, configuration and user access management and ensures they are up to date and in compliance with company standards.
- Work with Infrastructure resources to ensure all Workload Automation infrastructure is kept up to date and in compliance with company standards.
- Maintain the processing schedule and ensures that all workflows complete successfully within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, and assists Security and Internal Audit group with audit related activities.
- Ensure the team and systems adheres to security policies and procedures for data privacy and confidentiality.
- Monitor the performance of job automations and ensure that they meet service level agreements.
- Perform a detailed analysis of issues and may make modifications to production processes to resolve

- Document and report on the success or failure of processes, providing issue determination and resolution for all production job failures and/or delays.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Act as a subject matter expert in automation workflows, providing guidance and support to other IT teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to ensure that the team has access to the necessary tools and resources to support operations.
- May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Occasional business travel may be required.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
- Six (6) plus years experience with enterprise workload automation platforms such as JAMS, Control-M, Autosys, or ActiveBatch.
- Two (2) plus years leadership responsibility.
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
