Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation. Will participate in the development of strategies, processes and resources.
  • Manages project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software.
  • Coordinates allocated resources from within the Division to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project. Initiates and manages purchase requisitions, and purchase orders.
  • Drives cost schedule performance of equipment for internal and external customers and vendors worldwide.
  • Participates on multifunctional design teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects. Provides technical input to team members to achieve project goals.
  • Interfaces and coordinates within the division to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment.
  • Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented, and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate. Ensures compliance with company policies including (but not limited to) engineering/lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality, ISO, safety and others as required.
  • Spearheads research and development of new applications, as appropriate, and creates as needed processes, designs, and/or application are incorporated into Applied Materials business units.
  • Works on difficult issues that impact design and product success and/or addresses operational efficiency and financial performance. Success is measured by one or more of the following: reduction is operational costs, such as Period, Burden and Variance; Reduction in materials costs of products.
  • Provides engineering and business process expertise to team and other members on various standard programs / issues.
  • Solid hands-on knowledge and experience with C# and other tools to analyzes both numeric and object series, as well as Data Frame column sets of mixed data types
  • Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and sound understanding of basic areas of Computer Science such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket)
  • Manages cross functional teams and projects

U.S. Salary Range:

$124,000.00 - $170,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
