Job Summary:

The Manager, Learning & Development is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering integrated talent management programs and strategies that drive employee and organizational performance and enhance effectiveness. This role will be a primary owner of the learning administration system and support leadership development programs and facilitation both in person and virtually. The Manager, Learning & Development will champion employee engagement, culture, and learning initiatives.


Job Expectations: 

  • Responsible for creating, designing, developing, and delivering learning and leadership development programs both in person and virtually
  • Responsible for learning management systems administration and learning content integrations
  • Support the execution of core processes across the Talent Management portfolio including performance management, employee engagement survey, communications and talent planning
  • Execute Learning and Development strategy to optimize offerings for employees, managers, leaders, and teams to enable positive impact on Talent Management processes
  • Alongside the Director of Talent Strategy & Operations, evolve internal processes and programs for scale, sustainability, and to drive ongoing growth and impact of iHerb’s people
  • Communicate the goals and best practices of Talent Management processes and programs internally at iHerb via written, verbal, facilitated delivery of information
  • Coach high potential team members and leaders regarding leadership skills
  • Consult with functional and cross-functional partners on a wide range of Talent Management processes to streamline and optimize employee experience and participation in these programs
  • Continually evaluate and assess existing iHerb talent management needs along with key stakeholders in order to surface areas for improvement or new opportunities
  • Assist with career development, performance review and succession planning initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working both collaboratively and independently to balance and successfully execute on project objectives and related tasks with internal and external resources as necessary
  • Create and facilitate high potential leadership development programs and learning opportunities
  • Support employee engagement and communication of events and campaigns
  • Be data driven and evaluate the effectiveness of talent strategies with data analysis and effectively communicating results and findings back to leadership
  • Establishes and maintains team members and project stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications
  • Support development of executive-level presentations leveraging available data and able to make decisions in an ambiguous situation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

   Required:

  • Proven ability to work with a high degree of initiative, resourcefulness and autonomy
  • Proven experience with the ADDIE model - Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Execute
  • Extensive experience with course content creation and design, specifically for leadership skills development,  adult learning techniques, instructional design, presentation, facilitation, and consultation skills
  • Experience developing and driving change management in a complex, global environment
  • Experience with coaching high potential team members and entry level people leaders
  • Measure the outcomes of projects, pilots, and process improvement and leverage results to inform business decisions
  • Be a disciplined self-starter; resourceful and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing objectives
  • Demonstrate success working in a cross-functional, matrixed team environment on multiple projects. Able to work both on a team and independently deliver results
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to easily flex style and/or approaches to successfully manage changes in priorities, deadlines and workload
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Global mindset and the ability to develop tailored approaches based on client needs
  • Proactively solves problems and identify the information needed to enable effective decision making and actions

Equipment Knowledge: 

  • Excellent Powerpoint/Google Slides skills and experience building executive level presentations 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
  • Knowledge of HRIS (Workday) and Learning Management System Administration and Reporting preferred

Experience Requirements:

Generally, the role requires 8 plus years of complex Learning and Talent Management program development and project/program management experience (consultation, design, development and implementation). It also requires experience with learning management system (LMS) administration along with at least 3-5 years of  facilitation and coaching experience. 

  • SHRM-CP/SCP, GPHR, CPTD certification preferred.
  • CliftonStrengths, Engagement or other coaching certifications preferred. 

Education Requirements: 

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field preferred, not required.

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work.  The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.  iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
Employees (and their families) that meet eligibility criteria as outlined in applicable plan documents are eligible to participate in our medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance programs and may enroll in our company’s 401(k) plan. Employees will also be eligible for Time Off and Paid Sick Leave pursuant to the company’s policies. Employees will enjoy paid holidays throughout the calendar year.  Eligibility requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents.
Hired applicant may be awarded Restrict Stock Units and receive annual bonuses pursuant to eligibility and performance criteria defined in the respective plan documents and policies.

Anticipated Pay Scale:
$85,000—$173,775 USD
