Job Description

You will partner closely with the Director, Global Learning & Development and the business, to develop and deliver a new strategy for our global teams, amplify existing initiatives and programs and help us innovate and think about what is best for now and right for tomorrow as Figma scales.
What you'll do at Figma:
  • Lead the design, development and delivery of ondemand learning and development initiatives to provide accessible, effective, and engaging digital learning experiences that helps current and future employees reach their maximum potential.
  • Strategically manage our Learning Management System (Workramp) and other Learning Technology resources (incl. Panapto - FigTV), empowering our global workforce to improve their skills at any time and place (incl. Managing content configuration, system functionalities, custom settings, integrations, user permissions, and other related components).
  • Continuously monitor our learning technologies, including managing vendors, users, courses, addressing issues, and setting up analytics for comprehensive reporting.
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization (incl. Sales Enablement teams; Content subject matter experts; HR Operations; and People Business Partners) to create outstanding training content within our current LMS and other learning resources (e.g. Videos; Podcasts; Games; Blog posts; Job aids etc), including instructing course creators on essential platform functionalities.
  • Contribute meaningfully to other People programs aimed at attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional talent.
  • Identify and embed ordinary and extraordinary learning evaluation metrics and processes across all interventions to ensure a data driven approach when evaluating learning needs and return on investment.
  • Experiment often and transition quickly from pilot to solution delivery.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • A number of years of experience in managing learning systems, with an emphasis on large-scale, global LMS configuration and maintenance. Expertise with Workramp is highly preferred.
  • You thrive in ambiguity, adapt quickly to a changing environment, take a global view, and know that sometimes laughter is indeed the best solution
  • Able to effectively convey technical information to non-technical individuals in an easily understandable manner.
  • Proficient in collaborating, building relationships, and achieving alignment with Figma employees at various levels, as well as with external vendors.
  • Competent in evaluating learning programs and providing strategic recommendations for complimentary digital implementation.
  • Content creation abilities (e.g., learning path authoring, video/audio editing Videos; Gamification; Blog posts; Job aids etc) are a valuable addition.
  • You are thrilled with the idea of experimenting and evaluating to build programs from scratch and consider yourself a strong designer who can implement then scale up
  • Strong communications skills and an ability to communicate and influence across all levels of an organization
  • Strategic thinking, advising, mentoring, coaching and analytical skills
  • Experience in effectively working with multiple 3rd party vendors
  • Excellent practical knowledge of learning technologies and innovations in learning design
