Manager, Liquidity Risk
ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
The Liquidity Manager will oversee the liquidity management function within the Treasury department at VyStar. This individual will identify, monitor, manage, and communicate liquidity risk to various stakeholders, including executive and senior management, regulators, and auditors. The Liquidity Manager will be relied upon to assist in reporting and analytics production and enhancements.
Fully remote applicants will be considered.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Leveraging the ALM model to build and maintain near and long-term cash flow forecast
- Monitor daily ACH activity
- Manage wholesale funding sources, including effective collateral management
- Calculate, analyze, and report Liquidity Ratios and Early Warning Indicators
- Contribute to enterprise-level forecasts and NII/NIM attribution analyses
- Execute, test, and amend the Liquidity Policy and Contingency Funding Plan
- Spearhead liquidity stress testing scenario assumptions and communicate results
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting efficiencies.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in bank or credit union liquidity management, including analysis and reporting.
- 2+ years of management experience
- Advanced in MS Excel and additional Office tools
- Understanding of market drivers and impacts to bank or credit union products and financial statements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative area of study such as Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Statistics
Preferred:
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Management (FRM) designation.
- Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions within a bank/credit union setting.
- Experience with Information Technology projects, Data Analytics and Accounting.
