Summary of Job:
The Manager, Market Access and Pricing- U.S. is responsible for contributing to the development of market access/pricing strategy analytics initiatives. The individual must have an overall understanding of the pharmaceutical environment from a payer perspective, and a proven track record of market access analytics (e.g., pricing analysis, scenario planning) and market research. The individual requires a baseline understanding of pricing dynamics in the branded pharmaceutical environment including major drivers of commercial and Government Pricing (GP). Key responsibilities include but are not limited to, working within a growing market access team, developing pricing/contracting analytics, and assisting in payer strategy/payer marketing/value proposition/messaging. Responsibilities may also include participating in ad-hoc projects and collaborating with marketing, sales operations, and finance teams. This individual will report directly to the Associate Director of Market Access and Pricing.
Essential Functions:
- Contribute to the development of the U.S. market access strategy for all U.S Kyowa Kirin products (Oncology, CNS, and Rare Disease).
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned recurring operational deliverables (e.g., Government Pricing calculations, commercial rebates measurement) performed by external vendors/consultants.
- Assist to maintain pricing and contracting analytic framework for existing portfolio (Oncology, CNS, and Rare Disease).
- Assist in the development and implementation of pre-launch and launch initiatives including the value and access plan, and other market access support tactics.
- Research and own specific regulatory/industry trend outcomes for Sr. Leadership (c-suite) reporting.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience
3+ years of commercial pharmaceutical industry experience and/or pharmaceutical consulting experience. General understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturer payer space. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Technical Skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
