We're looking for a marketing manager with a strategic marketing mindset, background in content, and journalistic approach. You'll join our Sales + Marketing team as a key contributor, responsible for understanding, reaching, and engaging target prospects in support of sales and marketing goals: attracting and winning our next best client.

requirements + expectations
As a manager on our marketing team, you will be responsible for attracting prospective clients and supporting the Sales team in winning new business. Our marketing manager is expected to:
- Know and engage our audience-Gather and synthesize information to develop and foster a deep understanding of our ideal client, existing client base, and their organizations
- Know and build our brand-Shepherd the Fathom brand with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compelling communication and consistent messaging with target audiences
- Contribute to marketing strategy-Plan, develop, implement, and measure marketing strategies in collaboration with the Marketing team and in alignment with overall Sales + Marketing team vision, plan, and goals
- Operate with a journalistic mindset to tell stories-See the world in stories, proactively identifying opportunities for content development including information hierarchy, visual support, and compelling copy
- Write engaging and informative content-Grow and engage an audience by crafting valuable content for our website, social media, sales collateral, and other channels
- Support new business growth-In collaboration with Sales + Marketing team, contribute to effective go-to-market strategies and sales support activities in pursuit of our next best client
Requirements
- 5+ years' strategic marketing experience supporting agency and/or brand growth
- Proven ability to plan, write, distribute, and measure compelling content
- Experience developing productive relationships with subject matter experts, designers, executives, and sales teams
- Experience providing direction for editorial content, videos, events, social, PR, and/or performance marketing initiatives
- Experience directly and indirectly managing contributors of various skill sets and experience levels
Pluses
- HubSpot experience-leveraging HubSpot to reach and engage audiences including but not limited to building and sending emails; building, deploying, and updating workflows; etc.
- Paid media management experience-creating, managing, measuring, and optimizing paid media campaign performance
- Social media marketing experience-managing organic social presences for brand consistency, audience engagement, and outcome achievement
