Manager - Marketing Analytics and Insight

Location: USA, Remote

Job Responsibilities:
  • Focus on analyzing success of our full funnel marketing efforts, such as lead flow, pace of the lead lifecycle, and tactics, engagement across integrated marketing channels, retention and renewal rates, market penetration, etc.
  • Provide ROI analysis of all marketing campaign and program effectiveness and work with internal stakeholders to highlight areas of opportunity and optimization anchored in data, including Lifecycle Marketing (national demand gen prospect and customer), Regional Marketing (field and solutions) and Strategic Communications (website, social, PR, brand, ads, etc.) on a monthly basis
  • Develop and implement recommendations on how to improve metrics and outline testing strategies in close collaboration with marketing leadership.
  • Showcase uncanny ability to analyze complex data into digestible and actionable graphs, charts, presentations, etc.
  • Ability to codify data flows and subsequent analyses to support understanding marketing attribution, influence, and contribution to revenue
  • In unison with Marketing Operations manage market segmentation, targeting, and positioning exercises
  • Build, maintain, and disseminate Strategic Marketing Goal Scorecard and Channel Health Metric Dashboard
  • Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing actions and financial outcomes to increase profitability
  • Conduct market research to: analyze competitors; determine brand perceptions; evaluate market penetration; understand customer needs
  • Design research projects that answer specific business questions


Job Responsibilities: Management Function
  • Manage one FTE (Market Research Analyst III) in an effort to establish Marketing Analytics team approach, strategy, goals and ownership/responsibilities.
  • Develop, optimize and implement metrics-based dashboards that visualize key performance indicators and monitor funnel engagement, activities and movement; includes training glossaries, recorded trainings, data dictionary, etc.
  • Conduct regular audits of baseline metrics including: social media, email, web analytics, live and virtual events, content syndication, etc. in an effort to build proper benchmarking across all channels.
  • Liaise with various internal stakeholders and departments including customer success, sales, finance and sales operations to ensure that all team strategies and workflows are understood and continually maintained and enhanced.
  • Be a key driver in creating and leading a culture of data-driven decision making


Job Requirements:
  • University degree or college diploma in business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a marketing or market research role(s)
  • Prior people management experience preferred
  • Exceptional knowledge of marketing, sales, and business processes
  • Strong project management, business writing, and reporting skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid business acumen, management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills, including business intelligence and reporting software
  • Effective time management, organizational, and leadership skills
