Manager, Marketing Communication Program
Job Description
Summary
Coordinate with Blue Cross Association (BCA) and internal departments to manage and implement an integrated marketing communication strategy for local and national value proposition. Responsible for creation, production and maintenance of all supporting materials to include proposal content and graphics, sales support materials and promotions.

Location: South Carolina and North Carolina (Remote, East Coast only)
What You'll Do:
- Develops/implements marketing communication strategies. Works with management and subject matter experts to position and brand core products and services in alignment with the BCA/national value proposition.
- Creates/writes/edits and completes layout of marketing and sales materials. Works closely with management and subject matter experts to obtain final approval prior to distribution.
- Plans and budgets/estimates resources needed to produce materials. Communicates this information efficiently and effectively in order to gain buy in.
- Responds to and completes Requests for Proposals (RFPS) in timely manner ensuring responses are accurate and promotes advantages of products and services. Works closely with management and subject matter experts to obtain final approval prior to distribution.
- Conducts market research in order to monitor trends and efficacy of materials and promotions. Makes regular recommendations to management based on tracking and trends identified.
Required Education:
- Bachelors in a job-related field
Degree Equivalency:
- 4 years job related work experience or Associate's and 2 years job related work experience
Required Work Experience:
- 5 years of communications and/or marketing experience.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Superior writing, editing and design skills. Must be able to translate business/product information into consumer language. Strong analytical or critical thinking skills. Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
Work Environment:
- Typical office environment. Some travel between office buildings.
