Carrier is looking for a Marketing Communications/Advertising Manager to join our growing team!
Experience professional with highly developed Marketing experience. Responsible for developing communication and advertising campaign content and maintaining relationships with advertising vendors. Contributes to the development of advertising campaigns and serves as a contact for internal customers and training teams on useful sales/marketing tools.
About this role:
The Carrier North America HVAC parts business is responsible for the supply of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts in support of Carrier / Bryant / Payne and ICP equipment, both in and out of warranty as well as managing and promoting branded aftermarket products.
Carrier is seeking an experience professional with highly developed Marketing experience. Responsible for developing communication and advertising campaign content and maintaining relationships with advertising vendors. Contributes to the development of advertising campaigns and serves as a contact for internal customers and training teams on useful sales/marketing tools.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of events related to HVAC parts, as well as developing and implementing effective communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC parts, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to coordinate and execute successful events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Communicates and educates sales personnel on solutions and tools available through the Internet and online networks to increase sales and the productivity.
- Develops the organization's Internet content and handles its Web exposure and position to increase brand awareness online.
- Formulates plans to extend business with established accounts and to transact business as agent for advertising accounts.
- Identify and develop contacts for promotional campaigns and industry programs that meet identified buyer targets such as dealers, distributors, or consumers.
- Confers with department heads or staff to discuss topics such as contracts, selection of advertising media, or product to be advertised.
- Prepare advertising and sales contracts.
- Coordinates with the media to disseminate advertising.
- Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
- Prepares annual reports and support materials for intended financial audiences.
- Create, maintain, and interpret brand identity standards.
Event Planning and Execution:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events related to HVAC parts, including product launches, training sessions, and industry conferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics, from venue selection to post-event evaluations.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to maximize the impact of each event.
Communication Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for HVAC parts, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
- Create engaging and informative content for various platforms, including website, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
- Work closely with the marketing team to integrate HVAC parts communication into broader marketing campaigns.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including product development, sales, and customer support teams.
- Establish connections with external partners, industry influencers, and media to enhance the visibility of HVAC parts events and communications.
Market Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences related to HVAC parts.
- Use market insights to inform event planning and communication strategies, ensuring alignment with the needs and expectations of the target audience.
Metrics and Reporting:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for events and communication initiatives, and track success against these metrics.
- Prepare regular reports and analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of events and communication efforts, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 + years of experience in one of the following: Marketing and Communications, Digital Marketing, CRM systems, Database Management, Copywriting and editing, or Event Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event management, particularly in the HVAC or related industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with HVAC parts and industry trends.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in using communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems. This is a very hands on role.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred location Indianapolis
- Requires ~20% travel to quarterly customer regional meetings, annual distribution conferences, customer or distributor site visits, and vendor/supplier visits.
