GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Eagle Life Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation of marketing presentations, collateral, campaigns and value-add content, and leads a team to ideate, create and execute on these various verticals. The role elevates the positioning, marketing and distribution of our existing and newly developed annuity products and collaborates with Sales teams, National Accounts, Customer Experience, Communications and Product. This person utilizes their multi-disciplinary background, including both fixed and variable annuity sales, management experience, product marketing, knowledge of various distribution channels (such as Broker/Dealer and Registered Investment Advisory) digital tools, customer experience, strong public speaking and analytical skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field of study; plus six (6) years of product and financial services marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience including:
Prior leadership experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with sales management to define and execute the marketing strategy around product launches, firm engagement, and omnipresence support for our sales force.
- Develops and implements marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the company and brand.
- Optimizes marketing alignment of our product set in helping advisors best position our strategies.
- Establishes metrics defining campaign performance; modifies campaigns based on ROI analysis.
- Leads the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote the company and brand.
- Collaborates with Customer Experience on effective and educational content to promote stronger, more loyal customer relationships.
- Partners with distribution and distribution partners to understand firm internal marketing campaigns and were we can best position Eagle content.
- Partners with Legal/Compliance and Product to best meet the needs of our Sales teams and distribution partners.
- Provides marketing and engagement ideas for industry and firm conferences.
- Collaborates with various stakeholders to communicate marketing direction and product positioning.
- Collaborates in the creation of new sales ideas for our Sales teams and firm partners such as case studies, PowerPoint presentations, thought leadership articles and collateral.
- Coordinates and communicates the rollout of new products and features both internally and externally.
- Partners with Product to ensure product rollouts and enhancements are met with optimal timing for marketing collateral and campaign support.
- Works with National Accounts and Operations to administer rate changes, compliance, operation memos and commission schedule changes.
- Gathers and analyzes data points from industry organizations, asset management partners, and competitors to educate stakeholders on broader marketing trends and potential product positioning opportunities.
- Leads a diverse team of employees with responsibility for managing the employee life cycle and experience, including but not limited to, selection and retention of talent, continuous feedback and performance management, reward and recognition, corrective action and employee development.
- Remains current on all regulatory and industry trends and developments impacting marketing and communications in the annuity industry.
- Develops a budget for specified area of responsibility and is accountable for delivering against that budget, business goals/objectives.
- Performs other related work as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field of study; plus six (6) years of product and financial services marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience including:
- Financial services industry or annuity industry experience.
- Experience with the marketing materials utilized by larger broker dealer entities, bank institutions, and independent advisors.
- Experience setting strategic direction and executing go-to-market plans.
Prior leadership experience preferred.
