Job Summary

The Manager, Marketing Insights & Analytics is data-driven, strategic, and passionate about The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection brand. This position will play a key role in supporting core marketing measurement, strategic insight, and reporting needs globally. They will collaborate with various departments across the organization to drive tools and optimizations across the business. With a deep understanding of our guests, their communication preferences, purchasing habits, and campaign performance, this position will produce impactful analyses to help drive marketing decisions.

Essential Functions

  • Consolidate and analyze behavioral data from multiple sources including digital (e.g., social media, email, paid media, website, app) and non-digital touchpoints (e.g., PR activations, advertising).
  • Bring forward insights and recommend marketing investment optimizations to improve long-term results and bridge top-to-bottom funnel analytics.
  • Build analytical tools and solutions addressing marketing business needs and questions enabling better decisions by leadership.
  • Create and maintain regular reporting and dashboards to track key marketing metrics across multiple data sources through Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, and other business systems.
  • Partner across the business to support marketing initiatives and growth goals, report on campaign performance, determine measurement approaches, generate actionable insights, and set analytical strategies for new challenges.
  • Develop solutions for automating reporting and repeatable analysis.
  • Visualize data and create presentations in a manner that effectively tells a story across all levels of the organization.
  • Evaluate emerging platforms and technologies for potential integration into The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's digital universe.
  • Effectively manage contractors, agencies, vendors, and functional teams of employees from all levels of the business in support of departmental objectives.

Competency

Education: BA, BS, or equivalent experience required, MBA or degree in Marketing or Statistics preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years experience in marketing analytics and reporting experience

Skills:

  • Knowledge of data capabilities within Salesforce, Tableau, and Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions (AEM, ACS, AAM, Target) is strongly preferred
  • Fluent with Google Analytics or any other web analytics tools
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing objectives and KPIs, with a focus on demand generation, lead generation, and customer relationship management
  • Experience measuring lead generation and brand awareness campaigns using paid search, display, and social on platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads
  • Experience with A/B testing and interpreting results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with a strong understanding of Excel (formulas, macros, pivot tables)
  • Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness to achieve shared objectives
  • Flexible, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Work Environment

Works in a typical office environment with quiet-to-moderate noise generated by a computer, printer, fax machine, and light traffic. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Physical Demands

Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching. May require lifting or pushing up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone, and other office equipment.

Expected Hours of Work

The position is full-time and frequently requires working additional time outside of normal business hours.
