About the role
The mission of the Manager of Marketplace Analytics is to spearhead the direction of our marketplace analytics program, leading a team in executing both strategic initiatives and customer outcomes work. This person will leverage their robust analytic and technical expertise to enhance our client's business performance through high-quality analytics work and insights that elevate customer outcomes.
As a vital member of the larger Analytics and Experimentation Science team, the manager will contribute to unleashing the power of analytics and experimentation, making e-commerce faster, better, and smarter.
This person will be coaching and developing six marketplace analysts, each supporting a portfolio of customers. By guiding them to engage in impactful projects and elevating the quality of their work, the manager will ensure the delivery of robust, data-driven insights to our go-to-market team. Scaling experimentation across the team with a hypotheses-driven approach and solid findings, the manager will drive continuous learning. Additionally, the manager is responsible for sharing these learnings with key business stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Team leadership. Provide guidance and foster an innovative environment for your team of six analystsâcoaching individual contributors.
- Technical expertise. Know, apply, and teach the best methods for solving challenging problems within data analytics and architecture (e.g., data standards & best practices, experimentation, statistics, customer insights, etc.).
- Business insights. Oversee the design and execution of Marketplace projects to ensure rigorous, insightful analysis across domains (incl. A/B testing, custom analytics, building self-serve dashboards, etc.).
- Provide technical vision and strategy for building an efficient and scalable data ecosystem that enables the Rokt team to leverage data and insights across customer success, revenue operations, business development, and finance.
- Deliver impact. Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and team development for maximum business impact.
- Collaboration and communication. Build strong relationships with our internal team and business partners; communicate insights and recommendations to Adobe Stock leadership.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. (MS is a plus)
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in BI/analytics.
- 5+ years of experience leading business intelligence or analytics.
- Expertise in scripting languages (SQL and Python), visualization tools (Tableau or similar, e.g., Power BI or Looker), and Web Analytics (e.g., Adobe Analytics)
- Practical experience with product analytics and marketing/web analytics (search analytics is a plus.)
- Excellent people management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
