Manager, Measurement Analytics

Blue Cross of Idaho has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Measurement Analytics. This individual will lead team members in the creation and delivery of strategic opportunities to improve the cost and quality of healthcare by using advanced statistical and computational methodologies. Provide expert commentary regarding analysis and information utilized by business leadership and customers to help them achieve defined objectives.

We are looking for a candidate with:

Experience: 5 years' data analysis experience in any of the following areas: Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or accounting

Education: Bachelor's Degree Math, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

• Manage the examination and identification of data patterns and trends to help answer business questions and improve decision making.
• Manage analytic research, experience studies, and statistical analyses and calculations.
• Research and apply knowledge of existing and emerging statistical and data science principles, theories, and techniques.
• Manage the explanation of analysis to technical and non-technical audiences of both internal and external customers, including senior leadership and physicians. Makes informed recommendations.
• Manage and coordinate responsibility for and delivery of the work within the team.
• Implements and executes strategic plans.
• Ensure all analytical information that is shared outside of the department has been reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness prior to distribution.
• Ensure compliance of department policies and procedures.
• Provide recommendations to maintain department efficiencies and improve processes while remaining fiscally responsible.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
