Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions (Value Identification)

West Monroe has an immediate opportunity for a Manager to advance our leading Mergers & Acquisitions practice supporting our Value Identification center of excellence. The Manager will have three main responsibilities:
Business Development:
This role entails significant responsibility in developing new business, managing the client relationship at the executive levels while providing direction and oversight to project teams. Most importantly, candidates should be passionate about what they do and enjoy a fun, entrepreneurial environment.
Practice Development:
You will play an active role in addition to supporting the leadership of the team. Â He/she will be expected to manage and mentor talented teams of consultants supporting our Private Equity client engagements that leverage deep analytical capabilities to identify, quantify, and size areas of performance improvement in both a diligence and post-close setting.Â
Client Delivery:
As a Manager within our M&A Practice, you will be expected to provide delivery oversight on client engagements, manage relationships with client leadership and deliver compelling offerings that are relevant and thought-provoking while creating significant shareholder value.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree, with preference for statistics or analytics related fields preferred (Economics, Finance, Applied Math & Statistics, Data Science)
- High proficiency in Excel required
- Moderate to significant experience with relevant analytical tools and/or coding languages (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, R, Python)
- 5+ years’ experience managing and/or delivering teams of consultants and technologists OR 7+ years in a corporate role with emphasis on business analytics, FP&A or related fields
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills; with an in-depth knowledge of project planning and delivery methodologiesÂ
- Strong communication skills to be able to work with clients at all levels of the organization – from the shop floor to the board room
- Ability to travel 25% to 50%

Industry Knowledge:
- Industry knowledge of one, or more, of the following industries – Healthcare Providers, B2C Services, Retail, Consumer Goods, Industrial Products, B2B Services, Software & TechnologyÂ
- Ability to identify and quantify business cases impacting the P&L and/or balance sheet
- Must have been an active team member or PM on at least 3 operational and/or performance transformation programs for clients and/or their corporate employer

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of one year of employment.
