Compensation includes a base salary of $88,300.00 - $147,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Job Description
Manager, Mobile Operational Assurance and Analysis
The Mobile Operational Assurance team uses data driven insights to enhance the customer experience and optimize Cox Mobile customer acquisition and retention. As Manager, Mobile Operational Assurance and Analysis, you will be responsible for developing the data framework to analyze the mobile customer lifecycle and the effectiveness of strategic initiatives while providing insights for operational and experience improvements. This role serves as a subject matter expert supporting data analysis for Mobile Operational Assurance and represents the team in various cross-functional work streams.
What You'll Do
- Collect and analyze process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced customer and employee experiences, increased productivity, reduced cost, and drive growth
- Utilize Power BI to create dashboards and assemble analysis and storytelling with actionable insights
- Analyze complex datasets, generate/gather insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Provide recommendations and insights to senior leaders for business optimization and strategy improvements based on feedback
- Apply knowledge of economic, financial, market, and industry trends to understand and improve individual, work group and/or organizational results
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to build business cases to support process improvement initiatives
- Establishes metrics for process measurement, identifying areas for improvement.
- Designs process diagrams and evaluates current processes.
- Represent the team in various cross functional work streams and ad hoc analytical projects

Who You Are
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience in a related field (Degree, industry or skill). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years of experience, a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience or 10 years of experience in a related field with no degree
- Must have advanced experience using SQL language in the context of analyzing, sampling and generating sample data sets
- Hands on experience with BI and dashboarding tools (Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, or similar reporting tools)
- Strong multitasking, analytical and creative skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational, and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization
- Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to translate and communicate complex analyses clearly and concisely
- Conducts business/strategy impact analyses, validations, and measurement through all stages from concept formulation, definition of metrics, determination of appropriate statistical methodology, research evaluation, and final presentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred
- Master's degree or Ph. D preferred
- Experience in wireless industry and/or telecommunications industry experience desired.
