POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager Modernization - OTC Product Implementation primary focus is to ensure current business functionality exists and properly functions in the future order-to-cash system. Working as a business liaison the Manager Modernization - OTC Product Implementation partners to define the foundation for product fit-gap, design, configuration/customization, and delivery of product capabilities throughout the order-to-cash program.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates business and functional requirement gathering from System Users, Business Owners, and Subject Matter Experts in the development of user stories.
- Partners with IT on execution roadmap, driving optimal implementation of story sets.
- Evaluates progress ensuring proper business functionality while identifying gaps and working with IT on issue resolution.
- Participates in creating the value proposition for proposed changes or scope enhancements.
- Creates and owns the process to communicate, prioritize and track opportunities aligned to or that could potentially enhance the overall project scope.
- Frequently engages with leadership and project stakeholders. Responsible for delivering status on progress and opportunities.
- Responsible for detailed documentation of functional, system (non-functional), user and reporting requirements that may include but not limited to: Use Cases, Logical Models, Process Flow Diagrams, Report Specifications and Data Mapping & Flow Diagrams.
- Executes functional and user acceptance testing as part of project implementation
- Builds and maintains effective and collaborative working relationships with IT and implementation partners.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with transforming business needs into technical requirement and user stories.
- Minimum of 5 years SDLC experience with various methodologies.
- Finance software implementation experience.
- Experience managing projects, conflict resolution and leading people.
- Ability to consult and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across levels and functions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 year in solid waste industry in primary function of the modernization program.
- Bachelor's degree in related field of the program
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct or related field of the program
