POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager Modernization is responsible for supporting the execution of the Company's modernization program. The Manager will collaborate with functional areas to ensure the modernization program is executed and achieves Company goals while maintaining focus on process and controls. This role requires expertise within the function the project is focused on (i.e., Finance, HR, Operations, Maintenance, etc.).

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executes solution roadmap that aligns to business strategy and measurably drives project key performance metrics.
• Coordinates with multiple corporate departments to implement the modernization program.
• Documents the current state related to the primary function and assists with configuration and to help identify system functionality gaps.
• Identifies gaps and implements standard processes for gaps found during system implementation.
• Performs system integration testing where necessary to ensure the solution delivers what is expected by stakeholders; verify with stakeholders through UAT that the system is configured correctly.
• Provides support to end users to guide, advise, train and verify that users are able to undertake their role using the system.
• Collaborates with varying levels of indirect reports/resources and manages through influence; leveraging a working understanding of customer, local (field), shareholder, and employee priorities to achieve modernization program objectives.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience managing projects, conflict resolution and leading people.
• Ability to consult and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
• Bachelor's degree in related field of the program
• Minimum of 1 years in solid waste industry in primary function of the modernization program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct or related field of the program
• Previous experience in a management or team lead role
