Manager Multicultural Marketing Strategy Hispanic Segment

Role Summary:
The Manager, Multicultural Marketing Strategy will lead strategic campaigns and develop programs to engage the Hispanic Segment in a meaningful manner.
The ideal candidate will focus on these 4 main strategic pillars:
Engage the Hispanic segment in a culturally relevant way to improve brand affinity and loyalty. Acquire new customers by influencing marketing messages and all traditional and non-traditional tactics including grassroots efforts to ensure we are addressing their broadband pain-points via our differentiated value prop. Influence our retention programs to delight the segment and mitigate churn. Identify opportunities to enhance the customer journey/experience throughout the segment's life cycle.
What You Will Do:
- A key part of this role is to acquire new customers by leading/supporting the development of differentiated value prop to meet the needs of the segment, position Cox's products and services and increase market share.
- Partner with the Acquisition Strategy and Digital Marketing teams to develop Creative Assignment Briefs to ensure intentional representation of the segment and their unique needs in marketing messages and campaigns. Participate in Go-To-Market planning and strategic brief writing, lead all media/messaging tactics and assist in the management of the non-customer and current-customer Targeted Strategy Document (TSD) which provides the Implementation teams with direction on media placement, message weighting and prioritizations.
- Intentional representation of all customers is at the heart of what we do on the Multicultural Marketing and Strategy team. As Manager for the Hispanic Segment, the successful candidate will serve as the subject matter expert for the segment and will provide insights on how to properly engage and celebrate them through year-round Cultural Heritage Moments, and work closely with internal partners such the Employee Resource Groups, ID &E Team, Editorial Team, Content, Creative, Media and Retail, etc. to engage customers in an intentional and relevant way.
- Lead monthly calibration sessions with the Call Centers and Customer Service Teams to capture best practices and address challenges.
- Support and influence Digital Equity programs including targeted Affordability campaigns and grassroots efforts.
- In pursuit of our commitment to narrow the digital divide, the successful candidate will be required to lead/support/partner with internal stakeholders such as the Public and Government Affairs Team, the Product and Sales Teams, plus other external stakeholders, on relevant grassroots tactics to educate, engage and position Cox's digital equity programs to eligible customers.
- The successful candidate will work closely with the Retention Marketing and Strategy team to influence the development of relevant programs to delight current customers and mitigate churn.
- Effective onboarding of customers is of utmost importance to Cox and the successful candidate will work with the Onboarding Team to identify communication gaps and opportunities and influence the development of relevant communications to welcome customers and set them up for an unparalleled experience with Cox.
- This individual will work closely with the Reporting and Analytics team to capture business results and interpret data to influence marketing and business decisions.
- The successful candidate will partner closely with the COE, Technology and Sales Operations Teams to identify opportunities, improve upon existing processes, transcreate, develop versions and launch new tools, programs, and training to improve the experiences of all customers, especially the Hispanic segment.
- Identify gaps/opportunities and work with stakeholders to provide holistic and seamless end-to-end customer purchasing experience.

This role reports to the Director, Segment & Multicultural Marketing Strategy.

Qualifications:
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
- Hispanic segment marketing experience/work in the top multicultural segment opportunities within Cox footprint
- Strategic marketing, project management and direct marketing experience
- Experience in developing strategic marketing programs, leading, and executing 360-degree marketing campaigns and GTM programs.
- Requires strong knowledge of applications such Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Excellent Strategic, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Self-starter with ability to proactively prioritize work.
- Interpersonal leadership and collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional/highly matrixed teams.
Preferred
- Bilingual - English and Spanish highly preferred
- MBA degree in related discipline strongly desired (Marketing, Communications, etc.)
- Experience in telecommunications industry desired
