Job Description

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Manager (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to Set the vision and strategy for the application development team, ensuring that solutions are flexible, performant, resilient and provide customers with the best possible experience. Collaborate closely with Product, Technology and Management to manage complex client- vendor relationships and deliver global solutions on time and within budget by building and leading top-performing teams. Analyze and translate business requirements to technical requirements and architecture and work with cross functional teams. Develop very strong, sustainable relationships with team, peers, business partners and executive decision makers. Design, code, unit test, document and implement new solutions and as well as existing programs. Contribute to enhancements and change to existing B2B applications codebase. Develop code that complies with design specifications and meets security and Java or J2EE big data systems with best practices. Collaborate with Development and QA staff on individual and team deliverables. Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Identify opportunities for future enhancements and refinements to standards, best practices and development methodologies. Work closely with project team and other groups (e.g, Network, QA, Ops, Engineering). Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate, to ensure the quality of work delivered by self and teammates are in accordance with development standards. Interact with business units to define requirements/modifications and use case to utilize in designing appropriate solutions. Position reports to the Employer’s Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and Management, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer related occupation.

WORKSITE: Austin, TX

SALARY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $139,464.00 USD to $199,400.00 USD per year. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
