What We Are Looking For:

The Manager, Number Inventory will be responsible for leading our team that maintains a robust and accurate inventory of Bandwidth’s telephone number inventory.  This Manager will have a strong knowledge of Numbering regulations and requirements, strong analytical and problem-solving acumen, and strong leadership skills to develop team members.  This leader will also maintain healthy external and internal relationships to support Bandwidth’s strong reputation as a responsible number owner and communications provider.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify and define opportunities for hardening of processes to drive efficiency and accuracy, including process re-engineering, communicating development needs to relevant internal product and development orgs, and consideration of outsourced software solutions
  • Develop and implement a strategy in collaboration with Product and Development teams in support of Bandwidth’s broader number inventory systems.
  • Continuously maintain an understanding of Bandwidth’s business strategy, goals, and target markets, and translate that understanding into proactive operational plans, enabling business results.
  • Report on monthly inventory metrics and analyze demand trends to improve forecasting, resulting in an enhanced customer experience
  • Lead team through customer and executive escalations related to customer support, driving root cause analysis and follow-up activities related to support / network events.
  • Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with constituent organizations such as Network Operations, Product, Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, and Development. 
  • Measure, monitor, and drive employee engagement to ensure each team member understands their mission and are supported with the people, process, policies, and tools to accomplish that mission.
  • Maintain and enhance metrics to showcase the success of all customers as measured by Quality Assurance (QA), Customer Service Satisfaction (CSAT), and Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.
  • Provide input, coaching, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
  • Ensure appropriate resource allocation and scheduling is maintained across all teams.
  • Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with constituent teams such as Carrier Relations, Regulatory Operations, Product, Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success.
  • Maintain an active and influential voice in regard to industry-level changes and Bandwidth’s regulatory compliance related to number inventory.
  • Collaborate with our Regulatory Operations team to navigate the complex and ever-changing global regulatory landscape as it applies to numbering resources.
  • Act as the point person for new products and features released within the Numbers domain, ensuring operational processes are efficient and building out comprehensive documentation.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceAbility to communicate complex and/or technical information clearly and concisely to all levels within the organization using tact, common courtesy, persuasion and discretion
  • 5+  years of current relevant experience
  • Industry knowledge of the NANP and Code Administration
  • Industry Knowledge of Numbering in countries relevant to Bandwidth
  • Critical thinking, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to think creatively, improve processes, evaluate and resolve problems effectively
