Job Description

Job Summary:

• Manage day-to-day operations, projects, work intake and assignment for the Accounting Information Systems (AIS) team.

• Review, delegate and correspond to support tickets, requests, and inquiries.

• Participate in the activities around resolution of issues, ensuring swift follow-through to resolution.

• Coordinate projects with IT, end users and other stakeholders with strict adherence to detailed specifications and testing guidelines.

• Communicate with stakeholders on open issues, progress, and completion.

• Maintain documentation and a thorough understanding of systems, processes, and requirements.

• Identify competing timelines and actively engage team members and cross functional teams to prioritize/escalate deliverables.

• Drive relationships and partnerships with other teams and leaders in the global Finance and Accounting organization to develop and maintain an understanding of AIS's role, services, and capabilities.

• Establish base line for team service performance and monitor to improve productivity, timeliness, and quality.

• Maintain team documents, files, standards, operating procedures, and guidelines.

• Update and maintain libraries of the most up-to-date information, procedures and resources for end users and the admin functions of the team.

• Conduct daily sessions with team on all open items and projects and sets priorities.

• Conduct weekly 1:1 session with each team member.

• Identify and create process improvements.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and sense of urgency to ensure service expectations are consistently met.

• Ensure the team is an effective resource for the global Finance and Accounting organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of combined Accounting/Finance and Financial Systems experience, with at least 5 years of experience working in the financials module of a global ERP (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.).

• Minimum 5years of management experience in a customer service environment in a leadership role.

• Legal right to work in the United States.

• Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions.

• Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed.

• Experience in PeopleSoft Financials.

• Experience in Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials/EPM a plus.

• Operational/Technical knowledge in General Ledger and Subledger Accounting.

• Experience working with managed services and/or offshore teams.
