About the Position
The Manager of Business Systems leads a team of analysts responsible for analyzing new business system development, existing system improvement, and IT Operations. You will distribute analysis team resources and monitors deliverables to ensure client needs are met successfully and in a timely fashion.

What you'll do
- You assist with the strategic planning of the business system team.
- You're responsible for overseeing the Incident management process.
- You ensure the quality of project deliverables/artifacts by conducting phase reviews and providing approval.
- You lead efforts to implement process improvements internally and sometimes externally.
- You design and oversee the implementation of new features by documenting requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; reviewing system capabilities; writing specifications; developing testing strategy; deploying the final work product.
- You coordinate with other teams to identify and implement new systems to support business functions at an effective cost.
- You lead and grow talent in the ECOM, Exigo, ERP, and WMS teams, ensuring that they have career development plans and that their skills are up to date through training and coaching.
- You work closely with the Software Product team, PMO, and Stakeholders to ensure that project delivery is met within the agreed-upon deadlines, quality, and scope. This includes providing estimates and schedules based on business requirements.
- You supervise vendor partners to ensure they are high performing, meeting their committed work and quality obligations, and ensuring they are as efficient as possible by removing blockers.
- You provide input and approval for project requirements, testing efforts, and production-readiness
- You assess technical designs from vendors for thoroughness and impacts on the system, including performance and capacity.
- You assess impacts on the system, including infrastructure, due to changes.
- You collaborate as needed with project managers to establish project timelines, particularly for highly visible and sensitive projects.
You should have
- You have an associate's Degree in Computer Science or related experience. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related experience is preferred.
- You have 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related experience.
- You have 1-2 years of leadership experience.
- An ITIL Foundations, PMP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- You possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge of application development principles, practices, and procedures.
- You have experience working with business users to gather and document requirements.
- You demonstrate the ability to execute project portfolios to deliver business value with high quality.
- You have a high level of business and technical knowledge and have applied this to deliver business solutions.
- You're a team player- works well within diverse groups to achieve common goals.
- You're results-driven- focuses on achieving results that promote business success.
