Manager of Community Impact

The Manager of Community Impact is responsible for supporting the evolution of ACFC’s social impact identity.  This person works collaboratively with internal teams in Community and Revenue to deliver on ACFC’s commitments to our three impact pillars of Essentials, Equity, and Education, with funding from our 10% sponsorship model and through CSR initiatives in conjunction with the Community Team.  They will support strategic plans to build strong partnerships and strengthen the ties between the ACFC brand and our impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sr Director of Community Impact to support multi-year strategic plans for ACFC’s 10% impact, including legacy planning.
• Represent ACFC with impact partners as the primary contact for high-level impact planning.
• Develop strong working relationships with community-based organizations to facilitate programming and respond to community needs and feedback.
• Work closely with Sr Director of Community Impact and Partnership Marketing (PM) team to strategize and execute program launches that meet PM and Community requirements.
• Support outcome measurement for initiatives and programming, including research and data collection and synthesis for inclusion in quarterly and annual reports.
• Identify opportunities to expand ACFC’s impact initiatives, deepen our presence in and around LA, and bolster our overall impact identity.
• Coordinate with PR, Content & PM to identify opportunities for inclusion of impact in Community events, content, and campaigns.
• Collaborate with the Sr Director of Community Impact and Manager of Community Partnerships Activation to create decks outlining relationships between impact partners, sponsors, programming, and content
• Demonstrate understanding of program and community level outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Community Partnerships Activation to ensure flawless execution of all launches, events and ongoing programming.
• Collaborate with the Sr Director of Community Impact and Manager of Community Partnerships Activation in the creation of annual impact reports.
• Support the creation of creative briefs for each impact initiative and ACFC’s overall impact, to be executed by Content team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or an additional two years of professional experience in lieu of degree required.
• 3+ years of professional, relevant experience in corporate social responsibility/social sustainability and/or community development.
• Stakeholder management experience across one or more of the following sectors: diversity, equity and inclusion, government, education, sport/physical activity programs, or youth development.
• Experience with project management, managing daily activities and delivering results in a cross-functional environment.
• Work with leadership and team leads to help ensure strategy and execution alignment, and drive decision making.
• Excellent communication, analytical, written and presentation skills.
• Exceptional project management skills and the ability to keep multiple distinct projects on track.
