Manager of Compliance and OEM

Job Description: 

The Manager of Compliance and OEM assists in creating processes and workflows for a team of ten or more employees. This role will create employee development paths, acting as a bridge between operations and the executive team. This position also serves as a point of escalation for complex tasks and inter-departmental issues. Primary focus is on making sure that the day-to-day business of the OEM and Compliance teams are successful. This is a management level position, fully remote, reporting to our headquarters location (Rockville, MD).

Essential Functions: 

• Allocate department resources to best meet client needs and support internal initiatives 
• Ensure that the quality of work produced by the department meets company standards 
• Remain ahead of industry trends and inform team of changing automotive landscape 
• Design process workflows and training programs to improve quality and reduce time required for both project completion and employee development 
• Offer suggestions for department growth and work directly with department director to facilitate growth 
• Interview, hire, terminate and advise team members as necessary to support department growth/changes 
• Mentor employees and perform annual reviews 

Required Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Ability to communicate complex material in a digestible way 
• Intermediate knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, Excel and PowerPoint 
• Intimate knowledge of a multitude of manufacturer compliance processes 
• Prior experience in a manager or supervisor role 
• Customer service experience 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, marketing, project management or related field 
• 7 years' related experience or training
• Knowledge of the automotive industry 
• Familiarity with a dynamic environment

The salary range for this position is $69,800 - $135,400.
