The Position:
As the Manager of Content, you’ll be responsible for oversight and development of the way our brand shows up across all customer touchpoints. You will be responsible for delivering the creative ideas and communication strategy across all channels that support Gamechanger’s marketing campaigns. As a Manager of Content, you will create and execute innovative and compelling programs and campaigns that capture our brand’s essence, our products’ value and deliver revenue growth. You have a passion for creative development, an eye for compelling brand design, and understand how to translate insights into your team’s work. You are a leader who has a proven track record of creative excellence, exceptional leadership skills, the ability to drive results and who wants to roll their sleeves up and be in the day to day of strategy and execution. This role will report directly into the VP of Marketing.
What You'll Do:
Develop and implement a cohesive creative vision for our brand across all channels and customer touchpoints, resulting in increased awareness, affinity and revenue outcomes.
Create annual, quarterly and multi-year content strategies, based on insights, user needs, sports and cultural events and operationalize content operations to increase effectiveness and efficiency of all content.
Establish writing guidelines and self-service content, ensuring all GC team members understand and are utilizing best practices in their respective roles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Product Management, Product Design, Partnerships and CX, to ensure all brand and content efforts support our business goals.
Manage and prioritize multiple projects, timelines, and budgets to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices, and integrate them into our brand design and content strategy to ensure we remain ahead of the curve.
Actively lead and participate in the ideation and concepting phase of programs & campaigns and guide the team to develop concepts that deliver on the GTM strategy, build the brand, and connect with the target core audience.
Lead and oversee brand design and teammates to deliver consistent and hard-hitting communications that drive customers to take the desired action across paid media advertising, email, social, events and more.
Who You Are:
7+ years of experience in a brand, content and visual communications role. You have led a team of content strategists in prior roles.
Proven ability to develop and execute successful campaigns across various channels and formats and then demonstrate impact through metrics and KPI’s.
SaaS experience required; basic knowledge of sports strongly preferred. CPG background preferred.
Excellent project management skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to think creatively and strategically, and to translate that thinking into actionable plans and drive results
A strong understanding of brand identity, messaging, and voice, and the ability to ensure all creative efforts align with our brand guidelines and standards.Â
Ability to influence up, across and between multiple departments and leaders - manage positive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, external partners and Sr. Leadership.

The target salary range for this position is between $135,000 and $150,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammates pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
GameChanger (a subsidiary of DICK’S Sporting Goods) has company-wide practices to monitor and protect the company from significant compliance and monetary implications as it pertains to employer state tax liabilities. Due to said guidelines put in place, we are unable to hire in AK, DE, HI, IA, LA, MS, MT, OK, and SC.
