Manager of Creative - Church Experience
Job Description
The expected salary range for this position is $103,800.00 - $129,740.00. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. Overview
Do you recognize the pivotal role of storytelling in shaping faith experiences? Are you passionate about developing content that captivates audiences and enhances engagement across church channels? As a Manager of Creative - Church Experience on the US Marketing team at Compassion, you will oversee a team of creatives dedicated to crafting compelling and unmistakable cross-channel marketing content that brings the incredible stories of children around the world to our US churches and pastors. Your leadership will ensure that our missional efforts thrive through funnel-specific content that resonates with target audiences. As a seasoned practitioner and category leader, you will own and innovate on our core brand experience expression, leading your team to deliver sophisticated solutions that integrate core narratives to strengthen the Compassion brand in the minds of our audience. Â
What will you do?

Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.

Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.

Lead the dedicated creative capability for our marketing efforts in US churches.

Utilize your creative background to ideate, develop, and direct a team of creative professionals in creating innovative, church and pastor-centered multi-channel experiences and journeys.Â

Employ creative problem-solving and strategic thinking to drive engagement, participation and conversion.Â

Serve as a strategic leader for creative direction, management, and portfolio development.Â

Collaborate with channel and strategy teams to connect the Compassion brand to audiences through compelling experiences.

Ensure content in your channels is aligned under our content strategy, brand direction and voice. Â

Utilize data and insights to guide a results-oriented team, measuring experiential success through metrics.Â

Track and manage multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines.

Provide leadership and development for assigned staff.Â
What do you bring?

Excellent portfolio demonstrating skills in branding, storytelling, concept development, experiential design and execution. Â

Bachelor’s degree in communication, design, marketing or equivalent work experience. Â

Over 7 years of creative experience. Â
-
Proven ability to strategically lead and develop complex creative projects to achieve goals. Â

Formal or informal experience leading creative teams, focusing on direction, professional growth and coaching. Â

Strong advocate for team and category success. Â

Skilled in nurturing relationships across teams and meeting diverse requirements. Â

Detail-oriented with expertise in managing complex strategies and large-scale projects to completion. Â

Familiarity with measuring success in channels. Â
