The expected salary range for this position is $103,800.00 - $129,740.00. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. Overview
Do you recognize the pivotal role of storytelling in shaping marketing experiences? Are you passionate about developing content that captivates audiences and enhances engagement across marketing channels? As a Manager of Creative [Video] on the US Marketing team at Compassion, you oversee a team of video producers dedicated to crafting compelling and unmistakable full-production video content that brings the incredible stories of children around the world to our US audiences. Your leadership ensures that our missional efforts thrive through funnel-specific content that resonates within targeted channels. As a seasoned practitioner and category leader, you own and innovate on our core brand video expression, leading your team to deliver sophisticated solutions that integrate core narratives to strengthen the Compassion brand in the minds of our audience.
What will you do?

Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer.

Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.

Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.

Lead Compassion’s full-production video capability and brand expression.

Employ creative problem-solving and strategic thinking to drive engagement and conversion.

Utilize your creative background to ideate, develop, and direct a team of video professionals in creating innovative, supporter-centered content.

Serve as a strategic leader for creative direction, management, and portfolio development.

Collaborate with channel and strategy teams to convey Compassion’s story through compelling visual storytelling.

Ensure content aligns with our content strategy, brand direction, and voice.

Stay informed about current and emerging video channels to maximize opportunities.

Utilize data and insights to guide a results-oriented team, measuring creative success through channel metrics.

Manage in-office and international video production to meet timelines and expectations.
-
Track and manage multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines.
-
Provide leadership and development for assigned staff.

Lead international production at least 2-4 weeks annually.

Lead domestic production at least 1-3 weeks annually.
What do you bring?

Bachelor’s degree in video, advertising, programming, or digital content development, or equivalent work experience.

7+ years of creative experience.

Proven ability to strategically lead and develop complex creative projects to achieve goals.

Excellent portfolio demonstrating skills in branding, storytelling, concept development, and execution.

Formal or informal experience leading creative teams, focusing on direction, professional growth, and coaching.

Strong advocate for team and category success.

Skilled in nurturing relationships across teams and meeting diverse requirements.

Detail-oriented with expertise in managing complex strategies and large-scale projects to completion.

Familiarity with measuring success across video channels.
