Summary:
This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for an experienced Cybersecurity Leader to be part of a growing medical device company to lead, develop and strengthen overall enterprise and information systems cybersecurity programs and systems.
The Manager of Enterprise Cybersecurity is a hands-on role reporting to the CIO & CISO. This job requires the ability to work with multiple teams to deliver coordinated solutions with the agreement from other domain specialists and stakeholders across both IT and the Business. The role will serve as a cybersecurity domain specialist in the areas of on-premises & cloud security, incident management, penetration, phishing, & security threat modeling. The primary responsibilities are assessing, designing, building, implementing, and testing security tools, processes, and communications, within our Cloud & on-premises, based IT Infrastructure, systems, and solutions. Additionally, develops processes and techniques to contain the impacts of cybersecurity events and implements the appropriate processes to restore capabilities and services impaired due to cybersecurity events
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as a trusted cybersecurity leader and advisor for the GIS teams, cross-functional teams, and the executives to help keep the Accuray enterprise cyber secure by implementing proactive safeguards such as processes, policies, training, awareness, communications, monitoring, and KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders and 3rd party service providers.
- The role oversees the management of the function, ensuring requirements, resources, processes, and budget directly map to the overarching strategic needs of Cybersecurity.
- This role aligns to ISO 27001 and NIST 800-181 NICE Framework Workforce Categories: Analyze (AN); Collect & Operate (CO); Investigate (IN); Protect & Defend (PR); Operation & Maintain (OM); Oversee & Govern (OV).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity policies and regulatory controls threats, vulnerabilities, and the overall risk profile of the enterprise.
- Experience with incident handling for Security breaches in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop strategy, roadmap, and requirements for enterprise information protection to align with technology, product, and overall business strategy.
- Adapts approach to accomplish team goals and leverages the capabilities, insights, and ideas of others.
- Manage technical relationships with vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases.
- Uses leadership experiences to guide direct reports and team members through conflict.
- Measure deliverables to determine the success of goals, gain input and realign stakeholders to modify the action plan.
- Plans, identifies, communicates, and delegates appropriate responsibilities to team members to ensure smooth flow of operations.
- Develops processes and techniques to contain the impacts of cybersecurity events and implements the appropriate processes to restore capabilities and services impaired due to cybersecurity events.
- Looks for alternative and best practices to find innovative solutions to problems.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 7+ years of cybersecurity technical experience leading and supervising cybersecurity teams
- Experience leading projects to help implement ISO 270001 standards and certification
- 3+ years of management leadership experience mentoring intelligence analysts and cybersecurity individual contributors to promote successful performance and career growth in alignment with department and enterprise objectives
- Build and manage the enterprise cybersecurity function; experience mapping functional requirements to key cybersecurity initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices in medium to large-scale environments
- Experience with high-level application architecture, security technologies, Networking, web services, Cloud, and SOA
- Understanding of encryption, obfuscation, and tokenization technologies
- Strong presentation skills to large and small audiences
- Subject matter expert in many facets of network & information security, including Firewall policy design, SSL Certificate management, vulnerability analysis & mitigation, and other topics as assigned
- Significant knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the area of cybersecurity
- Knowledge of federal & compliance regulations
