Job Description:

About the Role:

Supports strategic growth activities across business units and the sales organization by partnering with the business, the business unit finance team, and sales teams to oversee the customer request for proposal (RFP)/bid response process. This role is also responsible for implementing a cross-business unit pricing strategy, ensuring the accuracy and alignment of pricing- and bids-related reporting, planning, forecasting and analysis with overall strategy.

• Manage the review process for RFPs/bids, ensuring adherence to the standards, guidelines, and governance structure set by the team

• Support the facilitation of weekly bid review meetings with executive stakeholders

• Maintain a holistic view of all bid activity and provide consolidated forecasting, tracking, and reporting to the organization

• Provide cross-business unit perspective on pipeline health and evaluate consolidated financial results to identify risks & opportunities

• Work with Division Finance to develop pipeline assumptions for short- and long-term operating plans, including vision, goals, target setting, budgeting, and forecasting

• Engage proactively with internal stakeholders, including sales, business units, and commercial finance

About You:

You'll fit right in if you have:

• 5 + years of experience in financial analysis and data management

• Background in the CPG industry, manufacturing, or related accounting and finance fields strongly preferred

• Demonstrated expertise in P&L management and thorough understanding of financial systems and general accounting concepts

• Proven success in establishing and maintaining strong business/finance partnerships with internal stakeholders and peers

• Exceptional leadership, presentation, communication, and customer service skills and high emotional intelligence, enabling effective navigation of a matrixed organizational structure and cross-functional dependencies to successfully complete projects and resolve organizational challenges

• Ability to adapt to change and manage ambiguity, with a track record of managing time and workload independently to meet deadlines

• Experience in project management and process improvement, with a strong background in utilizing systems and tools such as SAP

• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to leverage analytics to generate insightful financial strategies and solutions

• Proficient in utilizing MS Office applications

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting required.

• MBA/CPA preferred.

• Additional SAP, BPC, and/or BI experience preferred
