Manager of Finance (Hybrid - Flexible Options)
Job Description
Broadridge is hiring! We are looking for an energetic Manager of Finance to join our team! In this role, you will have oversight of financial operations specific to mutual fund related activity. This includes invoice creation and distribution, revenue accounting, revenue reporting, reconciliations, accruals, contract management and client experience across multiple products. Additional responsibilities include managing, training, and developing direct and indirect reports in the US and India, driving cost savings, and improving processes.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing, estimates, and accruals through documentation of systems, improving internal controls, and improving coordination with all groups that provide information to Revenue Management
- Facilitate cross-functional project teams to gather and analyze data requirements. Create, document, and maintain detailed specifications from which system changes can be developed. Drive solutions with help of Finance IT partners.
- Lead initiatives to drive process transformation, improve financial performance and drive business growth
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Manage, motivate, train, and provide development opportunities to direct reports.
- Establish and publish KPIs to measure timeliness and accuracy of processes.
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvements. Acquire talent while ensuring retention and growth. Identify and develop high potential associates.
- Manage and analyze large data sets to identify trends and insights
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of finance experience
- 2+ years management experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related fields required, MBA a plus
- Experience with business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Ability to manipulate large datasets (Power BI, Power Query, Oracle Analytics)
- Ability to effectively operate as a self-directed problem-solver, with focus on execution, accountability, and ownership.
- Ability to effectively communicate to team members, senior management, and project stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Smartsheet, including automation, macros and complex formulas; knowledge of SQL a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving experience
- Team oriented, with excellent organization, oral, written and communication skills.
