Manager of IMS (Integrated Management Systems) Strategy and Planning

In this role, you will report to the General Manager, International Facilities and Space Planning and partner with key leaders in the Real Estate and Facilities (RE&F) department, along with several key stakeholder departments across the Firm.
What you’ll do
The Manager of IMS Strategy and Planning will serve as a subject matter expert on the application, adaptation, and integration of computer applications and associated data that are used in facilities management activities. Specifically, you will:
- Provide subject matter expertise on strategies, techniques, and solutions to integrate applications and data used in the management of complex facilities and facilities systems.
- Support the implementation of approved solutions regarding the use and integration of facilities management activities, applications, and data.
- Communicate with the RE&F team to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
- Develop and document technical specifications for RE&F requirements.
- Use industry-standard software, tools, technology, programming techniques and workflow rules to modify integrated workplace management system (IWMS) functionality.
- As appropriate, support customization of database schema, SQL Scripts, and stored procedures.
- Support development of real-time and batch-type interfaces to external databases.
- Integrate IWMS with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit to use floor-plan drawings.
- Communicate objectives and schedules to management and stakeholders.
- Provide domain expertise around specific areas of software development.
- Support creation and implementation of user documentation including guides and whitepapers for customers.
- Provide input to project schedules.
- Provide input to software development tracking tool on tasks and required level of effort.
What’s required
The ideal candidate will have a background in the operation and management in multiple computer applications used across the full spectrum of facilities planning, management and operations activities. Specifically, you will need:
- 7 - 10 years of experience in facilities operations/planning/management, or a related field, including a demonstrated understanding of the facility management industry, processes, and technology
- 3+ years of SQL, Java, XML, and JavaScript development experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Integrated Workplace management Systems (IWMS), Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit, or equivalent systems and applications
- Working knowledge with Web Central APIs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with interacting with department heads and managers
- Comprehensive computer knowledge and understanding of the full suite of Microsoft Office programs
- Proven briefing, project management, organizational, and communication skills
