Innovation Manager

The Manager of Innovation will lead a cutting-edge Engineering team charged with deploying state of the art processes into Donaldson's Manufacturing sites. They will also work with internal customers and senior leadership to prioritize, justify, and manage a portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and deploying innovative solutions into Manufacturing and is comfortable communicating to all levels in the organization

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor Innovation Engineers responsible for the development, application, and deployment of innovative manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated experience developing innovative solutions for ambiguous problems.
• Influence Senior leadership and prioritize and manage Innovation portfolio
• Demonstrate ability to create technology roadmaps.
• Develop business strategies, by supporting/leading execution plans and maintaining a collaborative work environment with Global technology leaders.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to utilize Engineering principles
• Manage Projects to ensure successfully and development, and deployment while collaborating with internal and external teams

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science discipline.
• 6 -plus years relevant Automation Engineering experience and or Plant Engineering experience.
• Prior Project Engineering and/or technical management experience.
• Proven track record of deploying innovative automation in manufacturing/lab environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence technical groups
• Able to work safely in an industrial machinery environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters in Engineering, Technology Management or an MBA preferred
• PMP Certification preferred

Up to 20% travel to Domestic and international locations
