PRIMARY PURPOSE:

It is the primary responsibility of the Manager of Arcade and Vending to direct the daily operations of the department. Manager of Arcade and Vending is responsible for creating and executing on the strategic plan to ensure financial and guest service goals are met or exceeded. Oversight of all department staffing, schedules of front line and technical teams. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and policies, practices and procedures.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and execute daily Arcade and Vending Operations to achieve financial results in accordance with the annual departmental budget, including training of staff.
  • Evaluate daily, weekly, monthly revenue reports to ensure the daily schedule is set to the optimum performance level.
  • Awareness of amusement industry new games and products and offerings.
  • Responsible for operations and oversight of the department game and card redemption system in Arcade and Vending.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Arcade and Vending third party vendors when system and machine issues arise.
  • Oversee proper controls over cash handling and prize inventory and ensure inventory stock and displays are maintained • Monitor arcade area for irregular conduct by attendants or guests
  • Arcade game placement and room design and guest flow
  • Maintains inventory in vending machines as needed.
  • Oversee and resolve customer complaints
  • Create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company's diversity commitment.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Two (2) or more years of relevant experience

PREFERRED:

  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Debit Card Systems operations experience
