Summary:
Mistick Construction, a leading Pittsburgh-based general contractor specializing in multi-family housing is seeking qualified candidates for a Manager of Project Administration. We are an award-winning builder providing services in the areas of preconstruction, general contracting who specializes in collaborative relationships with our clients. Past projects range from $5 million to over $50 million. Projects include affordable and market rate multi-family residential, student housing, skilled nursing, assisted and independent living.
Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage Mistick’s Project Administrator team.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to direct reports, ensuring workloads are balanced and project deadlines are met.
• Provide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and support the professional development of team members.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve financial issues and ensure financial success of projects.
• Coordinate with Controller and President to assist with company budgets, project-specific goals and outcomes, as well as overall company financials.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of project invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
• Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices, ensuring they are aligned with contract terms and project budgets.
• Monitor and manage project cash flow, ensuring timely payment of subcontractors, vendors, and other project-related expenses.

Job Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in office management or similar administrative role
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, or a related field preferred
• Strong accounting knowledge and familiarity with financial software (Acumatica, a plus)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products – Outlook, Excel, Word
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
