A CAREER AS A MALIN SYSTEMS INSTALLATION MANAGER
We have 50 + years as a leader in delivering Intralogistics Solutions. Malin is looking for an Installation Manager to work within our Systems Department and assume responsibility for managing a team of Project Managers that implement large conveyor and material handling system projects.

Software Programs: MS Project, MS Project Web Application, Synergis Adept, MS Office suite of applications
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Manage the performance of a team of Project Managers, including interaction with key customer stakeholders.
* Validate effectiveness of project plans and project documentation, including Bills of Material, installation and product drawings, scope of work documents, project schedules and other associated project documentation as prepared by the Project Management team.
* Periodically review project financial performance, adherence to project schedule, and risk analysis with the intent of developing future leaders in this role.
* Demonstrate strong diplomacy skills.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Interact with sales personnel and customers as required to ensure necessary coordination and good communications.
* Review and approve project change orders.
* Make occasional site visits to review project progress and performance of Project Management team and report to management as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
* 5-7 years experience in Project Management and/or Operations Leadership in automated systems/supply chain or very closely-related field
General
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* Excellent time-management and communication skills
* Problem solving
* Quality focus
* Ability to earn trust with all stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills
* Willingness to travel nationwide and possibly internationally up to 25%
Language Communication Skills
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, scope of work documents, and other common project documents;
* Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers and vendor partners
* Ability to develop and deliver presentations via the web or in person * Ability to effectively present information to customers top management
Physical Requirements
* Ability to drive an automobile and travel using public transportation including airlines.
* Occasional bending and stooping.
* While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear.
* The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
* The associate is required to use hands to type, handle, or feel objects, tools and computer controls.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
