What You’ll Be Doing:Â
We’re looking for a Manager of RCM Special Projects who is passionate about improving the landscape for mental healthcare. In this role, you’ll own the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that allow Grow to bill and resolve the insurance claims that enable us and our providers to grow our businesses. You’ll lead a team of 3-6 Operations Associates and partner with stakeholders across the company to develop and implement innovative and scalable technical and workflow processes that will set us up to expand access to mental healthcare to all.
Manager of RCM Special Projects will report directly to the Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations, RCM within the Insurance Operations Department.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of 3-6 Operations Associates and Senior Associates. Coach them in their day-to-day responsibilities, and stay in sync with the Senior Manager on their performance
- Collaborate with our Contracting, Credentialing, Product, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure we’re setting up the RCM team to maximize collections made for the services our therapists provide to our clients
- Work closely with our RCM Operations Manager and Leads to identify process breakdowns, develop improvement plans, and implement solutions to resolve collections issues at scale
- Partner with our Data team to build new dashboards and reports to monitor collections performance
- Constantly ideate on how we can continue to improve our systems so that our RCM infrastructure continues to scale as we increase our application count
Salary range: $97k-$147kÂ
You’ll Be a Good Fit If:
- Have 3+ years of experience leading strategic projects and teams at healthcare organizations especially if you have specific experience in Revenue Cycle.Â
- Are hyper focused on creating the most efficient processes and driving operational improvements with your team. Deep understanding of how processes are connected to driving KPIs.
- Have a strong track record of building and leading high performing teams. Can identify individual and team opportunities and execute a plan to improve performance.Â
- Can solve problems by leveraging data analyses to identify the biggest opportunities, come up with hypotheses, and think about how to test out potential solutions
- Have a strong track record of juggling multiple initiatives and clear ability to prioritize most important stuff. Highly organized and able to keep projects and priorities on track
- Are able to execute by taking an idea and bringing it to life by hitting deadlines and ensuring goals are being met. Strong attention to detail; can identify mistakes and course correct quickly. Â
- Are comfortable using tools like Excel to perform data analysis. Can structure and articulate more complex analyses to data expertsÂ
- Understand the strategy and macro goals of an organization and can determine how those should influence the priorities of a team or departmentÂ
- You’re collaborative by nature, relish in camaraderie and group wins, and are looked to by your colleagues as a steadfast partner and source of encouragement.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment, and you’re able to pivot as new priorities emerge.
- You have a deep understanding how to leverage data to drive insights and action
- You’re a natural leader, and you’ve managed small teams in the past. You’re not afraid to delegate, but you also know when to step in and help.
- You have a strong track record of identifying and solving complex and ambiguous problems
- You are highly organized, a strong project manager, and can ruthlessly prioritize on initiatives based on impact
- You have excellent communication skills. You’re persuasive and credible with a wide variety of audiences.
